Big Spring Campground sits next to the banks of Pebble Creek at an elevation of 6500 feet in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. The area offers great fishing, hiking, and is also only 16 miles from Lava Hot Springs. The campground is comprised of single and double sites, equestrian sites, and one large group site that can accommodate up to 175 people. The sites are all equipped with picnic tables and fire pits and can fit equipment up to 70 feet in length. Drinking water and vault toilets are also available within the campground. Single sites are $10 per night, double sites are $20 per night, and the group site is $50 per night. The group site and some of the individual sites can be reserved online up until 4 days ahead of arrival. The remaining sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
