Reed Bingham State Park has four shorter loop trails; this adventure outlines the edge of three them. This hike features beautiful aquatic environments including, flat woods, river swamps, and bay swamps, explored via the paths long boardwalks. The trail also passes through other typical south-central Georgia scenery with mixed Southern hardwoods, turkey oak-pinewoods, and upland pinewoods. With all of the different habitats there is a plethora of different bird and wildlife species here. During the winter months there are thousands of black and turkey vultures that migrate to the area for the season.
