This trail winds through the J.B. Starkey Wilderness Preserve and is great for wildlife viewing. Watch for birds, wild hogs, turtles, and sometimes deer. Insects are rampant in the summertime so prepare accordingly. Facilities are available at the start point. Much of the trail is paved and available for other users.
