This large nature park located in Gainesville offers more than 7 miles of hiking trails that explore the area of flatwoods, sandhills, and cypress domes. The area is known for its beautiful wildflower displays and abundant wildlife. This hike follows multiple sections of well-maintained trail to complete one large loop through the area. There are lots of other connecting trails that allow hikers to customize shorter or longer hikes through the park if they desire. The nature center also offers nature programs and activities at its historic living farm. The area does have set hours of operation so check the schedule when planning a visit.
