The Garden of Eden Trail is known as one of Florida’s most challenging, yet enjoyable hikes. Although it is just over 3 miles long, the elevation changes are relatively great compared to other hikes in the state. After going up and down steep ravines, crossing bridges and walking along ridges, the view of the Apalachicola River is definitely worth it. Be aware of the orange fences near this view, as crossing them will put you in a dangerous area prone to erosion. Also be aware of snakes on the trail, as some can be poisonous.
