Maybell to Cross Mountain is a slow peaceful paddle that travels through a rural valley of rolling hills and ranchlands. It is rarely paddled by others and is a good multi-day trip for beginners. There are no rapids or whitewater. The takeout is located at the entrance to Cross Mountain Gorge.
