Tarryall Reservoir is a wildlife refuge for animals and migratory birds. The drive to access Tarryall Reservoir is beautiful and scenic as well as the lake. It is surrounded by mountains and is mostly desert and grassland terrain. Be sure to paddle to the beautiful waterfall on the southeast end where the lake exits into Tarryall creek. Camping is free and available on a first come first served basis.
