Silver Creek Road travels east to the base of Owl Mountain in rugged terrain. The first half of the trail is an easy gravel road but the second half travels through a thick forest with several water crossings and a narrow road. It is suitable for stock SUVs and there may be some rocky mountain pinstriping if it is a full-size vehicle. There is also a hiking trail at the end of the road as well as options for dispersed camping.
