Nellie Creek is a relaxing ride through a scenic forest of aspen groves. There is a beautiful waterfall that is worth a photo. The trail is rocky at the beginning but gradually gets wider. Dispersed camping is available along the trail and near the end. Staging is just west of Lake City followed by a 4.4-mile drive on the main road. If you have a high clearance vehicle you can park on Nellie Creek road near the campground.
