Michigan River trail follows the South Fork Michigan River to the edge of the Never Summer Wilderness area. The trail is pretty narrow most of the way with few places to pass other vehicles. Expect rocky, steep and often wet conditions. A hiking trail begins at the end of the trail. Stock SUVs with high clearance and 4 low will work with some careful driving.
