Lemon Reservoir is located northeast from Durango. The lake was created from the damming of the Florida River. It is used for flood control and irrigation water storage. It is about 3 miles long and half a mile wide. Fishing and occasional sailboarding are the popular attractions at the lake. Restrooms are available but no other services.
