Fremont County Road 27 is an easy 4 by 4 road surrounded by rugged mountains and rock formations. It is a mixed surface road that changes into packed dirt and sandy gravel. It begins at Highway 50 and the Arkansas River . Even though there are no named obstacles this road does contain washouts and ruts in the northern segment.
