Carnage Canyon is an extreme rock crawling trail that follows a rocky wash. It is less than a mile long but because of the obstacles could take all day to complete. There are huge boulders, waterfall climbs, and an obstacle that pushes almost all vehicles to their side. You must have a winch, lockers, and a minimum of 37” tires. Once you reach the end you have the option to run Chinaman Gulch or return to the trailhead. A permit is required for all vehicles that can be purchased at the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website.
