Baldwin Lake is a side trail that branches off the Mount Antero Trail. It follows the Baldwin Creek drainage as it gains elevation. There is mining history and beautiful scenery to see. The road has a lot of rocks and the road above Baldwin Lake is tricky. Remnants of an old mine are at the end along with views of the lake. Stock SUV with high clearance and 4 low will work.
