Alpine Tunnel East is near the famous ghost town of St. Elmo. This trail travels through the historical and beautiful country of Colorado. It follows an old railroad grade and most of it smooth and plenty wide. This is a popular ATV/UTV route so drive cautiously around corners. Stock SUVs are ok. Access to Grizzly Lake Trail and Hancock Lake are on this route.
