The South Bay Bike Path is the longest coastal bike path within Los Angeles. The two-way paved path stretches from Redondo Beach to Del Rey Laguna Park. You may notice another bike path at the park, this is the beginning of the Santa Monica Bike Path which ends at the mouth of Temescal Canyon. Dismounting is required at Redondo Beach Pier and is enforced by the local police; if caught you will be ticketed. There is a short section of road travel between the Yacht Club in King Harbor and Hermosa Beach. Although there is no vehicle traffic along the bike path itself, foot traffic can be heavy along some sections. There are plenty of restrooms available along the ride.
