This looped ride zig zags through the urban streets of Santa Cruz on its way out of the city and into open meadows and thick redwood forests of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. There are some flat sections, but this ride is mostly comprised of multiple climbs followed by steep descents. Most of the traffic is found in Santa Cruz.
