This is a loop trail through Mount Madonna County Park connecting several trails. The trail travels through a variety of terrain from oak woodlands, a cool canyon of redwoods, and an open grassland with chaparral. Views at the summit of Mount Madonna include Monterey Bay and the Santa Clara Valley. There is a spring to fill up on water along Merry-Go Round Trail at 4.4 miles. The trail travels on both dirt roads and as well as narrower trails.
