Placerville Cruise loops through the Sierra Foothills and follows the South Fork of the American River along lightly traveled roads that hug the forested canyon walls. Most traffic is in Placerville and along Highway 193. Make sure your brakes are in good shape for this ride, there are some steep windy descents that will have you braking nearly the entire way down.
