Between Sunol Ridge and Walpert Ridge is a wooded canyon and a country road which winds through, Palomeras Road. This ride follows Palomeras Road from Highway 580 to Niles Canyon while passing old barns, a small farming community, and two wineries. The ride consists of one climb which begins with a steady grade that increases where it nears the top, this marks the halfway point.
