The Niagara Rim trail is a scenic and challenging ride that travels through rugged terrain in Stanislaus National Forest in central eastern California. The ride features multiple marked obstacles including Hard Brake Hill, Lion's Butt, Sidewall Suicide, and more. The ride is rated as difficult but the hardest obstacles, with the exception of Hard Brake Hill, can be bypassed. The ride requires modified, high-clearance 4X4 vehicles being operated by experienced drivers. There are also lots of side roads and trails that can be used by stock vehicles to explore the area and avoid the obstacles.
