Electra Run is a popular whitewater paddle route along the Molkelumne River beginning just below the river dam. With that said the river flow is controlled by dam releases between spring and fall. This is a great paddle trip for beginners to intermediates. Some of the features you'll find on this section are long stretches of riffles, rocks, and an S turn. Since the length of the trip is so short, its often done at least twice.
