Kings River gives whitewater paddlers a chance to experience rapids driven naturally by the melting of a winter snow pack. There are no dams that constrict the flow of this whitewater trip, instead, you will enjoy Class III rapids all the way into late summer. Immediately after putting in, you are faced with the most challenging rapid, Banzai. This is a Class III+ rapid with lots of big holes no matter how low or how high the flow is. Beyond this are a series of Class III rapids.
