This hiking trail is a loop that is part of the Joaquin River Trail. The trail meanders along a peninsula that jets out into Finegold Bay. It meanders through grassy hillsides dotted with trees and filled with California Poppies during spring and summer months. The trail ascends to Pincushion Mountain where there are excellent views of Millerton Lake below. This trail is a combination of both single track paths with sections of dirt roads.
