Icehouse Trail meanders through a dense forest of young and old poderosa pines. At 1.2 miles the trail reaches Icehouse Reservoir where it begins to closely follow the reservoir. Other views along the trail include the Crystal Range peering through the trees. The trail ends at Strawberry Point Campground.
