This is a loop trail through Capers Wilderness park of Orange County which connects Bell Canyon Trail and East Ridge Trail. The trail begins by following a creek through a wooded canyon filled with coast live oaks and sycamore groves. The trail climbs a chaparral covered hillside to a ridge where you are surrounded by impeccable views of the Santa Ana Mountains and the valleys which cut between them. Mountain lions, rattlesnakes, and poison oak are all common in the park, be aware and stay on trail. The park offers restroom facilities, campsites, and showers. If you intend on mountain biking, continue along East Ridge Trail until you reach the park's main road; biking is prohibited along Quail Run Trail which is the last section of the trail. Also, the trail is a combination of dirt roads and double track paths.
