Beginning from Bakers Beach, this ride follows the coastline mostly along the Great Highway and the designated Bike Route 95. The ride begins with a hill climb followed by a stretch of downhill which then levels out. The first section where the ride bends around Point Lobos is forested while the remainder of the ride is exposed. With that said, winds are common along the highway.
