The Hermit Road Greenway Trail is a section of the Grand Canyon Rim trail that runs between Monument Creek Vista and Hermits Rest. The trail offers excellent scenery down into the deep and dramatic Grand Canyon. The trail is mostly paved, fairly level, and fully accessible with the exception of a short segment near Hermits Rest. The trail is accessible by multiple shuttle stops year round and by vehicle at the end of Hermit Road during the winter months when vehicle traffic is allowed. The hike can also be done as a longer out-and-back if desired. Dogs are allowed on the trail but not the shuttle buses.
