This downhill thriller along Desert View Drive drops from the cool forest terrain along the north rim down to high-desert landscape of the Painted Desert, offering amazing scenery along the way. The fast downhill sections of this ride should only be attempted by experienced riders who can handle long screamers. The highway is two-lanes wide with some sections of moderate shoulder along the way. A park service fee is required for bicycles and cars to enter the Grand Canyon for the start of the ride.
