The Yoholo Micco or Creek Indian Trail offers a great opportunity for local birdwatchers, nature lovers, and history buffs to enjoy the secrets of this paved trail. Begin at the Old Creek Recreation Area parking lot and travel the entire route out and back. Travel through Old Creek Town, which is the former site a Creek Indian Village. Keep your eyes open for nesting bald eagles, and take in the views as you pass over the old trestle, crossing Lake Eufaula. Pass an old wall that was built more than a 100 years before ending at the Eufaula/ Barbour County Chamber of Commerce and old Central of Georgia Freight Depot. This trail can be traveled both directions and offers a couple side trails with views of hidden features such as; a waterfall and an old cemetery.
