As part of the Troy State University Dothan campus, located on 130 forested acres, the Harrison Walking Trail begins behind Malone Hall and travels through the lush forested campus acreage. Part of the only long-distance, shaded trail systems in Dothan, and with a two acre pond, and a freshwater stream, this loop is great for hikers, trail runners and area bird watchers. Enjoy the variety of flora and fauna that surrounds you. Your hike can also become educational, as the different tree types are labeled with scientific and common names. The Harrison Walking Trails are open to the public seven days a week during daylight hours.
