This reservoir is one of the most popular lakes in Southern Wyoming for all types of water recreation. The lake has multiple boat access sites providing paddlers with lots of options regarding what areas of the lake to explore. The Marina Launch is located on the southeastern side of the lake and is in close proximity to many of the campgrounds at Glendo Reservoir. There are many side canyons and coves that provide solitude and protection from the wind and other boat traffic on the lake. Birdwatching in the area is popular as well as hiking, swimming, camping, and fishing.
