Yellowstone Lake is a 453 acre lake located in Lafayette County in Yellowstone Lake State Park. It has a maximum depth of 14 feet and it hosts large populations of a variety of fish. Visitors have access to the lake from four public boat landings. The scenery is gorgeous as forested mountains rise all around the lake. The west end of the lake is a large marsh and waterfowl area. There is also a large, sandy swimming beach available.
