There are three color-coated loop trails in the Scuppernong Trail System that are open to hikers and classical stride skiers only. The Green Trail is the longest and is mapped in the hiking section with the title “Kettle Moraine State Forest – Scuppernong”. All of these three trails are best suited for intermediate to advanced skiers as the moraine terrain is very hilly. The trails are lined with tall hardwoods and the scenery is exceptionally beautiful.
