This loop begins Thunder Bay Resort and crosses over Lac Vieux Desert Lake and is maintained by the Phelps Snowmobile Club. Snowmobiles must be registered and a trail pass is required that can be purchased at https://www.awsc.org/Trail-Pass-Registration/Order-Passes-Online. If you are a snowmobile club member it is $10. If you are not a member of a club the pass is $30.
