Barney’s Rubble is located about 5.6 miles up Icicle Canyon, near a parking lot area that is straight across from Bruce’s Boulder. Be cautious of rattlesnakes, poison oak, ticks, bats, yellow-jackets, and hunters during hunting season. Bring gear that includes thin nuts, a variety of cams, slings, and ropes (50, 60, and 70 meters). Rock type: Granite/diorite and some alluvium.
