Lake Champlain lies in New York, Vermont and parts of Canada stretching 100 miles in length and 12 miles at its widest point. There are 70 islands including an entire Vermont county. Vacation rentals are found all around the lake. Chipmans Point has a concrete ramp but no restrooms or facilities. The shoreline is undeveloped with thick vegetation making pleasant waters for paddling.
