This segment the Paiute ATV trail covers approximately 35 miles between the town of Richfield and the historic site of Fremont Indian State Park in south-central Utah. The trail starts from Richfield and follows FR #096 (Paiute ATV trail #04) west to the intersection with the main trail. The route then continues south along the main trail for the remainder of the route to the state park. The majority of the ride is intermediate in difficulty but there are a few sections that are steep and rough, requiring more caution. The ride starts at an elevation of about 5400 feet and tops out at an elevation close to 8000 feet. Fremont Indian State Park offers a museum, hiking trails, restrooms, and campgrounds.
