Lower Onion Creek Campground sits along the edge of the mighty Colorado River. The scenery is amazing with impressive views of Fisher Towers, Castle Valley and the river. A boat ramp is located in the campground and gives you easy access to the river. Group sites are available but they are not along the river. Some of the favorite activities to enjoy are hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, four-wheel drive trails, rock climbing and visiting the charming town of Moab. Gusty winds and summer thunderstorms are common so be prepared and keep your tents and gear secured.
