Beginning at the Dry Creek Trailhead above Alpine this is a perfect afternoon hike to a beautiful waterfall. The trail climbs steadily, is easy to follow and well-defined. Sections of the trail are in the shade and you will cross the stream a few times over log bridges. Be careful with young kids at the falls as the rock cliffs are dangerous.

What an awesome hike. The falls are beautiful. Sit at the top and and soak your feet in the icy water.

Very fun hike! It was a lot steeper than we thought it was going to be. Up toward the top after you pass the sign that says dry creek to the right it isn't very well marked. Make sure that about 200 feet past the sign you go down the steep hill on your left to get the best view of the falls. Other than that great hike and we loved it!

More out of shape than I thought..

Steep, but that's because I think 3 donuts, a hamburger, and 3 rockstars for fuel prior to it was a good idea

Really nice and rewarding falls. Highly recommend it. But as the description says, be careful at the falls because there are some slippery and dangerous areas where you could fall. This particular route goes up to the top of the falls. If you just want to goto the bottom, then you can veer off to the left most of the way to the top.
