Elephant Hill is a fun off-road trail located in the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. The trail enters a small canyon called “Grabens” and leads to the popular hiking trail Joint Trail and also to the Confluence Overlook. Give yourself enough time to do these short hikes. The technical stuff consists of steep and narrow climbing with some tight switchbacks that may require backing up. Rock ledges that require high ground clearance and 4WD. No ATVs or UTVs are allowed even if they are licensed.
