Floating the Dirty Devil River is a classic multi-day river adventure. The best time to float is March or April. Low water levels are a problem during the summer months and you’ll be walking and dragging your boat. Flows need to be 100 cfs or higher for a successful trip. Expect class I and II rapids with regular waves and easy rapids.
