Johnny Boulder is about the most accessible boulder in the Boulder Gardens area. It has some nice warmup routes on the back side. It's in Palo Duro Canyon State Park, which is one of the few climbing areas in the Amarillo area. Most of the available climbing is bouldering because of the poor rock quality. Please be delicate with the holds and try to preserve the classic routes. Some taller walls exist, but be extremely careful.
