Located on the south shores of Lake Texoma at the border of Texas and Oklahoma, this trail offers something extra for the serious adventurer. The path is rugged and hilly, much more difficult than many of Texas’ flatter trails, and novices may find this more challenging than they wish to attempt. Trees cover the entire area, including the trail itself, and direct sunlight will not be much of a problem. Be sure to pack in plenty of water and perhaps some energy bars to sustain you on this intermediate-level hiking adventure.
