Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area is located in northeastern Texas and offers some of the best off-roading available in the area. The trail system is maintained and owned by the Texas Motorized Trail Coalition and consists of a variety of trail options that range in difficulty. The Any Sunday trail is 1.5 miles long and is rated as easy to moderate in difficulty. The short loop trail is accessed off the main road as well as the Omega trail. There are no major obstacles or challenging sections but rain can result in some muddy conditions. An off-road OHV sticker from Texas Parks and Wildlife is required as well as a daily use fee.
