The second largest natural non-alkali lake in Oregon with more than 10 square miles of water, Waldo Lake is a pristine lake located in the Cascade Mountains. Waldo Lake is one of the purest lakes in the country and on a calm day, you can see depths of 120 feet. In addition to creating scenic, clear waters, the lake's lack of plant life means that there aren't many fish and thus not many fishermen. Only electric motors are allowed on the lake, leaving a quieter, less-crowded atmosphere for kayakers and canoeists. This lake is not to be missed and a true gem!
