Packers Cabin was built in the 1930s and was used by the forest service. Anglers enjoy the remote location with lots of opportunity for quality fishing. The cabin can accommodate up to 12 people and is furnished with one double bunk and ten single bunks with mattresses. Table, chairs, a work area for food preparation, and a wood-burning stove are available for guest use. There is no water on site so visitors must bring their own as well as linens for sleeping. Additional space for tents available and access to a vault toilet. The cost per night is $40.
