The rock material here is mostly volcanic and red tuff, along with basalt. The Morning Glory Wall is a massive 350 foot high, south facing monolith that gets plenty of sunlight. A lot of the more difficult routes ascend the right base of the wall, while the middle section includes several multi-pitch lines. Temperatures can get pretty toasty during the summer months, and it can also get below freezing during the winter months. Be sure to bring some cash for a $3 dollar parking permit, or you can purchase an annual pass for $25. There's also a roadside campground just before you get to the main parking area.
