Located within Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park, Cleawox Lake is located 3 miles south of Florence and two miles of sand dunes lay between the lake and the Pacific Ocean. Cleawox Lake is a natural freshwater lake that is popular for swimming and canoeing or kayaking. It is known as a gem for exploring on a canoe and can take all day if you'd like it to. Canoes and paddle boats are for rent at the state park or bring your own.
