Chapin Forest Reservation protects a mature woodland of beech, maple, tulip, hemlock and oak trees. It is known for its old trees, distinctive rock formations, history and is open year round for activities in each season. The Quarry Loop Trail begins at Quarry Shelter and ends at the Forest Shelter. This is an easy trail suited for beginners.
